On January 25th, the Joan Manén Association and Joventuts Musicals de Tortosa met to sign a two-year agreement outlining the program of concerts for the "Els teus clàssics" series in Tortosa during 2026 and 2027.

The Joan Manén Association's main objective is to recover and promote Catalan musical heritage throughout the region through concerts featuring works by Catalan composers performed by high-quality musicians, mostly from Catalonia. The "Els teus clàssics" concert series, organized by the association, is one of its key projects for showcasing this heritage. To expand its reach, the Joan Manén Association began in 2021 to co-organize concerts with several prominent Catalan musical organizations that regularly present concert seasons. Some of these co-productions will also form part of the "Els teus clàssics" series. Catalan composers' music, enriching their programs and taking a step forward in enabling audiences to fully discover and enjoy the music of their region through high-quality performances.

Juventuts Musicals de Tortosa was founded in 1972. The current board, chaired by Elisa Huguet since 2021, promotes an annual concert series featuring classical and jazz music, with concerts for all ages. These concerts prioritize showcasing the talent of the Ebro region and fostering collaborations with institutions and organizations in Tortosa. With this agreement, the organization seeks to further promote Catalan musical heritage in partnership with the Joan Manén Association.
