February 9 at 7.30 pm will take place at the opening ceremony of the Joan Manen in the Petit Palau (Palau de la Música). We opened the Joan Manén Year and celebrated the 10th edition of the cycle of concerts "Els teus clàssics" with a concert featuring 10 singers and 11 pianists who have participated in the previous editions of the cycle. Thanks to them and their firm commitment to the dissemination of the music of Catalan composers the project of the Joan Manén Association, which this year also fulfills 10 years, has been a reality. This inaugural act will be a great celebration of Catalan music and will supose the begining of a lot of activities that will help us to know more and to put the value of Joan Manén's work, one of the great international musicians of the XX century .

The Generalitat de Cataluña was given to the Joan Manén as a national celebration, for this year 2021. As a result, the inaugural concert is co-organized by the Association, next to the Palau de la Música and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
